In a significant development for Türkiye’s defense sector, five Turkish defense companies have been listed in the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking, underscoring the nation’s expanding prowess in defense manufacturing and exports. Leading this impressive cohort is ASELSAN, which achieved the 40th position, marking an advancement from 43rd place last year. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) also made a notable entry, securing the 48th spot. A newcomer to the list, ARCA Defense, made a strong debut at 53rd place.
Roketsan showed substantial progress by advancing to the 64th position from 71st, while MKE maintained a respectable presence at 81st place. Collectively, these firms have generated an estimated $14.9 billion in defense revenue throughout 2025, reflecting a robust performance in the global market. ASELSAN led the revenue figures with $4.46 billion, followed by TAI with $3.65 billion. ARCA Defense, despite being a newcomer, recorded $3 billion in revenue. Roketsan and MKE contributed $2.37 billion and $1.42 billion, respectively.
The remarkable growth trajectory of these companies is driven by the increasing international demand for Turkish defense products.
