ESET has joined forces with EVC Group in a strategic alliance to enhance Europe’s cyber and energy resilience by developing next-generation battery energy storage systems. The project aims to align with both current and forthcoming European Union cybersecurity regulations, bolstering the long-term resilience of vital energy systems.
CyberSec BESS plans to leverage European expertise in cybersecurity, system integration, and certification, alongside global prowess in battery manufacturing. Martin Talian, ESET’s Chief Corporate Solutions Officer, emphasized that battery storage is a cornerstone of modern energy infrastructure and must incorporate cybersecurity from the outset.
